Born and raised in the Orlando area, Doc Brock graduated from Trinity Preparatory School in 1976. He attended Emory College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1981 and his M.D. in 1985. After completing his internship and ophthalmology residency training, Dr. Magruder returned to Orlando and joined his father, Dr. G. Brock Magruder, Sr., in private practice to form the Magruder Eye Institute.
With his father nearing retirement in the mid-‘90s, Doc Brock branched out and opened Magruder Laser Vision in Orlando’s College Park neighborhood
One of Doc Brock’s objectives in building his own practice was to address the uncertainty that patients sometimes feel. Opting for laser eye surgery is a big step, and no one is immune to being nervous. That’s why Dr. Magruder offers free consultations to determine the best solution for each patient and to explain the technology and tools he has at his disposal.
Engineers continually refine and improve LASIK technology. Each generation of technology improves accuracy and solves issues that previous versions of the technology could not address. By combining the latest technology with his expertise and personalized care, Dr. Magruder can give you the vision you’ve wanted and freedom from glasses and contacts.
